Skingirl page 8 inks, Cowboy Chris #2, and Winter inks Winter part 4
Happy father’s day weekend, friends. In today’s edition, you’ll get a look at some raw inky goodness in page 8 of Skingirl, saddle up with the Cowboy Chris #2, and see part 4 of Winter inks Winter.
Skingirl page 8 inks
In all its monochromatic goodness, I present page 8 of Skingirl. We’re still working on the colors here, but I thought you mother-fathers would appreciate a sneak peak. What’s Hell without a little waiting. We really wanted to experiment with different methods of showing time pass and have a little fun blending the infernal with the mundane. I have to wonder…who took ticket 1?
Cowboy Chris #2
If you haven’t scoped Cowboy Chris #1 yet, do yourself a favor. The birth of a legend like Cowboy Chris is a rare thing. In writing classes, I was always told you could be as absurd, as nonsensical as you wanted, as long as you were honest. Cowboy Chris caught my eye all those years ago because that’s exactly what Winter did. The comic is ominous and light-hearted, humorous but dead serious. It makes sense in all the ways that matters.
Winter inks Winter, part 4
Drawing cigarette smoke, creating the illusion of distance, and how to deal with light and shadow.

Cool! Another word for "not dense"? "Translucent" maybe?
